To create a cross-sector SEND and Inclusion hub, establishing a broader vision of success and equipping all schools with the tools and strategies they need to ensure all pupils are enabled to fulfil their potential.
Our Values
The SEND and Inclusion Hub shares the values of the Leicestershire and Rutland Teaching School Hub.
Collaborative - The SEND and Inclusion Hub works across the education sector facilitating genuine synergy between mainstream and special education.
Ambitious - Children get one chance at school. We have a responsibility to continually develop and improve.
Research Informed - We believe that every child is entitled to the expertise which enables them to learn well, to be challenged and to achieve ambitious things.
Inclusive - We will use affirmative, respectful and dignified language and narratives which avoid the unintended consequences of deficit framing that exist within the current SEND system.
Friendly - We are always open, honest, and approachable.
